John Chrostek writes poetry, prose, and plays. In stories, he focuses on speculative fiction: Horror, fantasy, science fiction, stories of modern anxieties and visions. In poetry, he shoots for sincerity and wordplay. In both, he digs finding a laugh.

He’s currently a a Fiction Reader for Uncharted Mag and slowly working on a novella while living with his partner Amanda and their two pets Zadie and Madeline in Philly. His recent work can be found in publications like Taco Bell Quarterly, No Contact, Cease, Cows, X-R-A-Y, Blind Corner and more.
